We invite you to join us in Giving Together to build a better future for our community! With community support, we continue to work toward a future where everyone has a safe and stable place to call home.
We value all the support you’re able to give, whether it’s $10 or $1,000. We also welcome volunteer service and donations of needed supplies, scroll down to learn more.
All donations help us support and meet the needs of people in MCCAC’s service area of Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman counties, including individuals and families participating in our programs at the Hood River Shelter and The Annex. MCCAC is also now able to accept donations of stock. If you have questions or are interested in making a stock contribution, please reach out to us at info@mccac.com.
Supply + Food Donations
Items are needed for multiple programs including The Annex Transitional Housing (The Dalles) and Supply Bundles (Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman County).
Food Donations
With growing food insecurity, we are encouraging community donations of shelf-stable and microwavable food items for The Annex pantry.
Examples of appropriate food donations: granola bars, oatmeal packets, cup of noodles, Hormel meals, canned soup.

Supply Donations
MCCAC supports unhoused community members through extreme heat and winter weather with basic needs supplies. As we head into warmer weather, MCCAC needs community support with the following items:
Cooling towels
Bottled water
Snacks
Electrolyte packets
Sunscreen
Chapstick
Rechargeable fans

Give for the Gorge
Give for the Gorge is a point-of-sale fundraising program that uses collective giving to benefit the communities of the Gorge.
When shopping, dining, or recreating at participating local businesses, customers can “tip the Gorge” and proceeds are divided among non-profit members of Give for the Gorge in the areas of Housing, Food Security, and Conservation.
